- If you don’t have a regular time slot, we always need extra help at book fair time. If there’s a grandmother or other family member with extra time, let them know about the opportunity. Grandparents love seeing their grandchildren at school!
Open Houses & Private Tours
First they move its time slot, it was the highlight of my Thursday, now they are thinking of not renewing? Come on, with Elementary moved, and a REALLY delayed premiere of POI, CBS seems to be.
Pear Tree Elementary is looking for Vancouver families that share and support our educational philosophy. To help you better understand and appreciate our amazing approach to education, we offer a combination of open houses and private tours. You are welcome to sign up for either or both of these.
Open House
Our open houses will allow prospective parents to tour the facilities, meet some of the faculty and learn about our approach and philosophy.
These open houses are in person. For COVID precaution purposes:
- parents are required to wear face masks during the tour
- we limit the number of parents attending by asking you to attend for a 30-minute time slot
- we request that you watch our virtual tour video prior to attendance to make it possible to answer your remaining questions during the 30-minute visit

At present, we are offering virtual private tours to cover the majority of questions most parents have about Pear Tree Elementary. The focus of the virtual tours is on our educational program and our staff.

We are offering our in-person tours once again. However, this will be in conjunction with our Virtual Tour video. The purpose of our in-person tour will be to show you around our school facilities and to answer any questions that haven’t been answered in our Virtual Tour video.
