Spell uses are being multiplied by 1.1 (1.2/1.3 for the +1/+2 versions of the ring respectively) and then rounded up. For example, having a spell with only one use, the number will increase from 1 to 1.1, then be rounded up to 2, resulting in two spell uses. Some of the more powerful spells have much smaller casts like Soul Geyser, Uses: 1 1 1 1 1 2 2 2 2 3. I have 3 slots, all using the same thing, lightning bolt. And I have 33 casts. If I remove two and just have one, I only have 11 casts. So it is per slot, per spell. I have 16 attunement, which is the 3 slots.

Is there a way to increase attunement slots without rings/levering? So we all remember the sweet headpieces in ds2 granted more attunement slots, but I can't seem to find them in this game. Is there any way at all to get more attunement slots in this game without spending precious stat Points? I do believe you can get around this for the moment by unequipping on of the attuned items without unattuning, after this you can attune to the fourth item, after which you simply re-equip the item that was unequipped, and voila, you are now attuned to 4 items.
