Snake eyes in Craps is simply a name given for a roll of a two in online casino gambling. This Craps bet is popularly known as Aces or Two Craps, at the same time it is the same as snake eye. This is because each die will encompass the number 1 displayed which will then add up to two. Snake Eyes In the game of Craps, when you roll a two on your first roll, you lose. Rolling a two in gamblers’ parlance is called rolling “Snake Eyes”, so called because of the resemblance of the two pips to the eyes of a snake, and because of the ill-deserved reputation snakes have for treachery due to the chicanery of the mythical snake.

Introduction

Snake Eyes is a craps variant offered at the SkyCity casino in Auckland, New Zealand. It is pretty much the game of craps with all the best bets removed leaving only the sucker bets. To add insult to injury, they depress the odds on some of them compared to the normal stingy American rules. A few new sucker bets are added to the mix too. However, they do up the win on the Snake Eyes bet from 30 up to 32.

* To roll a number the 'hard way' means that both dice must land on the same number. For example, a hard 8 would be a 4-4.
** To roll a number the 'easy way' means that both dice must land on different numbers. For example, a hard 8 could be rolled as a 2-6 or 3-5.
